Research for an African Fund for Arts and Culture
The Arterial Network invited Nicky du Plessis and Khadija El Bennaoui, in association with the Goree Institute, to do some research about the possibility of creating an African Fund for Arts and Culture. This research project is complete. Now we are in the process of establishing the actual fund for arts and culture.
Project
The project is a two-phase research
project into the viability, sustainability, structure, management,
operational mechanisms and location of a Fund that will channel support
to the African creative sector.
The first phase of the research is finished and the research report is now available. We are currently in the second phase of the project which involves implementing the research findings for the actual establishment of the Fund.
