The Commission awards money in the form of grants in order to implement projects or activities in relation to European Union policies. These grants may be awarded within fields as diverse as research, education, health, consumer protection, protection of the environment, humanitarian aid, etc.
Art Moves Africa
Art Moves Africa (AMA) is an international non- for-profit organisation aiming to facilitate cultural and artistic exchanges within the African continent. AMA offers travel funds to artists, arts professionals and cultural operators living and working in Africa to travel within the African continent in order to engage in the exchange of information, the enhancement of skills, the development of informal networks and the pursuit of cooperation.
Common Wealth Foundation
The Foundation's responsive grants enable people from developing Commonwealth countries to participate in activities involving international or intercultural exchange, such as: short training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, cultural festivals, exchanges and study visits in other Commonwealth countries. In particular, the Foundation targets activities that strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations and that relate to the Foundation's mission and programme areas.
