From 02 to 09 February 2021 the second edition of Mali Contemporary Art Fair, called Ségou'Art will be held in Ségou (Mali), .
Ségou'Art is an initiative of the Kôrè Cultural Center in collaboration with the "Festival sur le Niger" Foundation. It will reunite the continent's young visual artists, gallery owners, collectors and art lovers, art critics around the works of young emerging talents from Africa and other countries, to make them known, but also to initiate a reflection on the development of visual arts in Africa, and to create the optimal conditions for their outreach.
This exhibition aims to allow gallerists and art professionals to discover the new faces of contemporary African creation.
Its aims are:
- to allow collectors to discover the work of young artists of the continent;
- to promote the innovation and creativity of young talents;
- to promote the local consumption of the works of artists of the continent;
- to open a new type of market for the artistic production of young talents from Mali and elsewhere.
