The Cameroon jazz & fusion “ colors” festival launches a call for international applications for the search of the following positions (below mentioned). These functions are voluntary and free.

Successful candidates may serve at their place of residence or in Yaoundé, Cameroon if they wish. Their accommodation and nutrition will be assured by the project of the festival (which takes place every month of December in Yaounde, Cameroon, Place de l'Hotel de Ville).

Communications Officer

You will manage, edit and upload the Union’s content and coordinate online communications with members.Main duties will include: Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of all information on the festival website and microsites. Editing and uploading news stories, events and other content to the website. Management of the monthly festival news email to members. Liaison with the Digital Development Manager to ensure that the website functions as best required for members. Development and implementation of search engine optimisation strategies. As well as having excellent communication skills, you will be a skilled copywriter and editor, able to work with complex copy at speed without compromising on accuracy.

General Secretary

The General Secretary will lead on negotiations of festival terms agreements; write and redraft agreements and guidelines; research potential new agreements; liaise with management organisations, government/regulatory bodies, agents’ associations, cultural institutions, and other entertainment unions.

Planning and Logistics Manager

You will deliver a sub-project to relocate objects co-ordinating this activity with the project and with key stakeholders across the Group. As well as providing recommendations for the movement of our objects, you will deliver any enabling works required in advance of their movement and collaborate with specialist teams to implement any relevant activity . You will manage a sub-team ,developing and training you staff.

Commercial Manager

Your role will be very much focused on people management and financial management. We envisage this role taking an active part in the development of staff by carrying out regular , performance management reviews and development plans.

Artistic Manager/Director

The artistic director of a festival company is the individual with the overarching artistic control of the festival production choices, directorial choices, and overall artistic vision. The artistic director may be the founder of the festival and the primary director of its plays. In larger non-profit festival , the artistic director may be appointed by the board of directors.

Arts Development Manager

The key areas of work for the Arts Development Manager will be: Developing MID’s artistic leadership, policies and practices Piloting ways of reaching new audiences who face barriers to participation in the arts, in places where fear and anxiety about migrants is strong Developing performance practice through new collaborations, to provide audiences with compelling artistic experiences which help change attitudes around migration.

Corporate Membership & Events Manager

Working within the Corporate Membership and Events team, you will aim to optimise the income raised from corporate events at Tate Britain and Tate Modern, by providing a first-class sales response to all corporate enquiries, and developing long-term relationships with Tate’s supporters, corporate members and sponsors. General Manager As the General Manager you’ll have a team of operational managers supporting you and your vision for the portfolio. It’ll be your job to ensure that this vision is well communicated throughout the properties and that the team all support your vision.

Operations & Development Manager

Responsible for Operations, Fundraising, Finance and Human Resources.

Development and Fundraising Manager

The Development and Fundraising Manager will work closely with the Artistic Director/CEO, Executive Director and the Board to enable The Print Room at the Coronet (PRC) to establish fundraising as a core function within the organisation and to generate income from individual donors, charitable trusts, corporates, Arts Council funds and other relevant sources in order to achieve the financial targets set in the business plan and annual budgets.
