Call For Applications: Afro Pepites 2018 - Arterial Network

The African Dream is calling on artists to apply for the Afro Pepites Show – a global platform where African musicians and music lovers can create their own show on the Internet around one single theme: African culture. 

The registration process is under way and artists have until 30 September to submit their registration forms. Now in its ninth edition, the show will be broadcast online and is designed to enable artists the opportunity to speed up their international careers.

Eligibility

The call is open to musicians from Africa, the Caribbean, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, or any other musician inspired by Africa.

The call is intended for the following types of artists:

• Musicians
• Dancers
• Storytellers
• Poets
• Photographers
• Painters
• Sculptors
• Short film or clip directors

Conditions:

• A membership fee of €20 ($25) is required from artists living in Europe, North America or Asia.
• Admission is free for African and South American artists.
• Artists should provide their contact details, a photo, one link to their music and a biography.
• Artists who do not have a website are invited to share SoundCloud, ReverbNation and YouTube links.

The Afro Pepites Show gives artists the opportunity to share one of their best creations and gauge their level of talent with other creatives from around the world. It also provides them with a chance to network with fellow professionals from various African cultures.
