Optimist Produktions invites artists from around the world to submit their applications to participate in the 19th edition of the Yakaar International Urban Music Festival, to be held in Senegal from April 29 to May 4, 2019.
The Yakaar training center, headed by Optimist Produktions group, is known for its initiatives to support African hip hop talent. For almost two decades now, the organization has been organizing a large festival every year devoted entirely to urban music. The show, which has hosted artists such as Tiken Jah Fakoly, Asa, Zaho, Lafouine, Didier Awadi, Daara J Family and Yelen, has established itself as one of the largest Francophone African hip hop festivals.
How to apply?
All artists wishing to perform on stage at the 19th edition of the Yakaar International Festival of Urban Music are invited to report by sending an email to: yakaarfestival@gmail.com. All the conditions of participation will then be provided by the Yakaar team.
