Once again, Arterial Network will be participating in the global celebrations for Africa Day on the 25th of May 2017. World Africa Day celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) agreements on the 25th of May 1963. The commemorative day is intended to celebrate the wealth and diversity of Africa, to strengthen solidarity among its peoples, as well as promote regional integration and international cooperation.
It is in this spirit of pan-Africanism and in its desire for a more united and stronger Africa that Arterial Network has chosen to celebrate this day by organising various continent-wide events. Last year, Nigeria, Mali, Zimbabwe and Côte d'Ivoire organised diverse national celebrations.
More details about the Africa Day programme to be released soon.
