SHIRIKA is an Arterial Network programme that supports the health of Arts Organisations on the African continent, developed in partnership with the Cultural Development Trust.
The definition of organisational health is an “organisation’s ability to function effectively, to cope adequately, to change appropriately, and to grow from within.”
In order for the creative sector to thrive economically and socially, it is essential for arts organisations to be ‘healthy’ to be able to reach their full potential in terms of sustainability, performance and competitiveness.
The first step to good health is to know your organisation’s present state of health in order to identify the symptoms that need to be cured.
Through the SHIRIKA programme, Arterial Network has developed a free PDF tool that includes all of the necessary details to guide you through the diagnosis in a few easy steps.
