The 'Empowering Women As Cultural Leaders Roundtable' took place at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa, on Wednesday the 6th of July 2016. The Roundtable was moderated by Marie Sachet of Arterial Network as part of the ongoing African Women in Cultural Leadership programme. 

The Roundtable explored challenges, strategies and solutions to capacitate and empower women for leadership roles in the African Creative Sector.

Ernestine White (Iziko South African National Gallery), Lliane Loots (Flatfoot Dance Company), Lara Foot (Baxter Theatre) and Jade Bowers (Standard Bank Young Artist Award Winner 2016 - Theatre) took part in the discussion.
