Reseau Kya / Arterial Mali organized in partnership with SUP'MANAGEMENT Private University a discussion between cultural professionals and academics, on Thursday, June 21, 2018.
Several creative and cultural industries' professionals joined Reseau Kya and shared their knowledge with the future Malian executives. Among the speakers: Adama Traore (Director of Act Seven), Aminata aka Mimi Pedro (Stylist), Mohamed Doumbia (Administrator of the Festival sur le Niger) and Vieux Farka Toure (musician and son of the famous Malian musician the Late Aly Farka Touré).
During this event, the students discovered the purpose of Reseau Kya and also the various career opportunities offered by the creative sector. The discussions were moderated by Djibril Guisse, Sustainability and Finance Officer of the Kya Network Executive Office and Coordinator of the SMARTS Segou Association.
The speakers answered students' questions while taking the opportunity to urge them to bring their science and technicality to the cultural sector, for the development of creative and cultural industries in Mali and Africa.
