Tade Adekunle

P. Tade Adekunle holds a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan and has acted and directed stage productions in Nigeria’s vibrant theatrical scene, since the early nineties. While combining his theatrical activities of acting and directing play productions, Tade has worked in various other companies for the past twenty years, among which are Automania Nigeria Limited, SO&U Saatchi & Saatchi Limited, Fidelity Bank Plc. He joined the Cossse Group in 1999 and currently the Executive Director/CEO of Towncriers Limited – a foremost experiential marketing and brand activation company in Nigeria.

 

Tade was a past National President of National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP) 1998 - 2003. He has served in various Federal Government Committees – Ministerial Committee on the review of Cultural Policy (2000 – 2001), Ministerial Committee on the establishment of the National Endowments for the Arts (2001 – 2003) among others.

 

Tade contributes articles on socio-political and cultural issues in leading national dailies in Nigeria. He is a member of International Special Events Society (ISES) and Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and has attended various training courses and conferences both in Nigeria and abroad. He is currently serving as a member of the Steering Committee of the International Network of Cultural Diversity (INCD), Canada and Arterial Task Team.
